Supported Independent Living (SIL)
we strive to make sure your transition to independent living is as comfortable and as supported as possible. We look into what is best for you, such as where your friends and family are located, what is in your new neighbourhood, and whether your new housemates are a good match for you.
Supported independent living is the NDIS funding term that helps people with disabilities to carry out their daily tasks independently and build new skills. Open Sky provides a range of NDIS-funded accommodation to suit individual support levels. Our welcoming team assists participants with their daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, eating, preparing meals, etc.
Reach out to us to discuss if we have vacancies that meet your requirements.

Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA)

RESPITE
You may take advantage of our respite accommodation if your carer is unavailable for a few days or if your family are embarking on a vacation or is otherwise occupied. NDIS will fund respite care of up to 14 days and this usually covers the costs of your stay as well as the support required during this period. Our respite accommodation in Perth provides facilities for a variety of needs, including high care. We also organise recreational activities for our guests to partake in either individually or as a group. Nutritious meals are prepared daily, and you will be accompanied throughout your stay by a compassionate support worker.
